Student Ambassador Scholarships for International Students at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences for Bachelor, Grant Founded in 1997, Satakunnan ammattikorkeakoulu (Satakunta University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Pori (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Satakunta. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, Suomi (Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland), Satakunnan ammattikorkeakoulu (SAMK) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Satakunnan ammattikorkeakoulu (SAMK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 22 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Countries: All international students that are nationals of non-EU and non-EEA countries are eligible.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: All Bachelor’s degree programs at SMAK are eligible.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The students must be international citizens.
  • The students must be enrolled in the university.

Offered Benefits

The selected students will be provided a sum of 200–500€ per year towards the tuition fee of the selected course by the university. The sum will also be renewable for the following year of study.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The students are required to apply for their course of choice online. The students who will successfully enroll and be accepted will be considered for this application .
  • Supporting Documents: The following documents are required:
  • Your photo
  • Motivation Letter (background, expectations for exchange)
  • Transcript of records (showing your grades from the home university, in English)
  • Copy of your passport
  • Admission Requirements: The students must hold high academic records in previous years of education and submit all demanded documents to be accepted.
  • Language Requirement: The students must be proficient in speaking, writing, listening, and reading the English language.
