Hatfield Lioness funding for Women from Developing Countries at University of Durham, UK for Master Founded in 1832, Durham University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Durham (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North East England. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Queen's Campus, Stockton-On-Tees. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have applied for and been offered an unconditional place on their chosen master’s programme by the end of May 2021.

Applicants must not be in receipt of any other scholarship to fund their postgraduate studies or have completed a degree in the UK before.

Applicants must be female.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for the grant, applicants are advised to take admission in the master’s degree programmes at the university. After being enrolled, they should apply through this Application form.
  • Supporting Documents: To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the previous transcripts at the university.
  • Admission Requirements: Claimants have to meet the admission requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: Students have to provide evidence of English language proficiency by providing the TOEFL or IELTS test scores.
