Students from non-EU/EEA countries are eligible to avail this application . The sponsorship will be awarded in the order of the highest points scored in the evaluation process. The sponsorship will take off some amount of financial burden from the applicants.

First-Fee Waiver masters programmes for International Students at LUT University, Finland for Master Founded in 1969, Lappeenrannan teknillinen yliopisto (Lappeenranta University of Technology) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Lappeenranta (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South Karelia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, Suomi (Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland), Lappeenrannan teknillinen yliopisto (LUT) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Lappeenrannan teknillinen yliopisto (LUT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. The LUT University will provide the selected applicant’s fee waiver for the first and as well as a chance to secure a fee waiver for the second year of study.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The students are required to submit the online application form and provide all necessary documents.
  • The accepted students will be considered for the opportunity .
  • Supporting Documents: The applicants are required to submit the following documents:
  • Degree Certificate for your Bachelor’s Degree
  • Transcript of Records for your Bachelor’s Degree
  • Copy of your passport (ID page)
  • Official Statement for Grading Scale
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 on the scale of 1.00 – 5.00.
  • The applicants are required to have secured a total score of 550 in GMAT and 152 in GRE.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants are required to attain minimum scores in the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 80
  • IETLS Academic – 6.0
  • PTE – 54
  • CAE – Grade C or higher
  • CPE – Grade C or higher
